Out of Hours Service

Between 18:30 and 08:00 Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on Bank Holidays your call will be redirected to the NHS 111 service.

Out of Hours GP Hub Centres

Patients can now book an appointment at Banstead PCN out of hours hub centre to see a doctor based at Nork Clinic. The Hub sessions run from Monday to Friday 18:30 to 21:30, and Saturdays 09:00-17:00.

NHS 111

The NHS 111 service is staffed by a team of fully trained advisers, supported by experiences nurses and paramedics. They will ask you questions to assess your symptoms, then give you the healthcare advice you need or direct you straightaway to the local service that can help you best. That could be A&E, an out-of-hours doctor, an urgent care centre or a walk-in centre, a community nurse, an emergency dentist or a late-opening chemist. Where possible, the NHS 111 team will book you an appointment of transfer you directly to the people you need to speak to.

Always call 999 in a critical of life-threatening situation, for example if someone loses consciousness, is in a confused state, has severe chest pain, breathing difficulties or sever bleeding that can’t be stopped. If you or someone else is having a heart attack or stroke, call 999 immediately – every second counts with these conditions.
